Figuring It Out

Well, 8 months have gone by and I still have had no luck finding a job. I've started wondering if my age is part of it. I feel like a dinosaur living in a new world. So, I've set out searching for something that I can do from/at home. I've looked into transcription because I already have experience in that field. I've come across both scams and legitimate work. The hard part is passing the test. I've taken several only to get an email in return stating "sorry not a good fit". Nothing else, just that. Which is fine but they don't send you the results of the test so you can see for yourself what you have done wrong. Especially when you feel that you have done a good job only to be turned down.
So, I'm still on the hunt to find my place and my purpose in this world. Honestly, after having a 20+ year career, I never once imagined finding a new job would be this difficult.
I'm also thinking about this affiliate marketing. That might be interesting!
And how do I get people to come here to read my blog? What is interesting in the world that I could talk about that people are interested in? Let's see what do I know about? Crochet, transcription, slime, crafts, the list is long but I think it needs to only be 1 or 2 things.
